I have been very fortunate to receive sponsorship from various highly reputable companies. With the support of great sponsor like you I have been able to acquire the products needed to make this supra a great performer. I removed the entire motor to have it balanced and blueprinted. Turbonetics reworked the T66 P-trim turbo and sent me a T76 Q-trim ballbearing balanced and blueprinted race ready turbocharger. The new turbo will be placed on an R.P.S. stainless steel equal length tubular header. The entire head assembly including the intake and additional Injector piping has been extrude honed donated by Ed Melendez of Extrude Hone. Shawn Baumgarter from Unorthodox racing donated sponsorship of his excellent under drive pulley. I have also received a Tech II computer donated by Electromotive' Jim Long. Enkei's Kim Sequin donated a set of 17 X 9 inch Enkei Won Gun racing rims. Suspension Technique's Bret Noragard donated the sway-bar kit with lowering springs that should solidify ground control. Advance clutch Technology donated a very strong racing clutch and heavy-duty pressure plate, which is being attached to a Mueller Fabricated aluminum three piece flywheel. RC Engineering sponsored the 72lbs-hr. injectors. Along with a Paxton fuel system sponsored by Bob Wyman. The car is topped off with a set of PIAA fog lights sponsored by PIAA. 10 SEC RECIPE'
|
Since the streetcar shootout, I had the pleasure of working with Richard Clewett. Richard is an excellent engineer and tuner for import racer out there looking for that winning edge running Electromotives Tec II. My latest upgraded are as follows; Turbonetics T76 Ballbearing Q trim turbo using an external Race waste-gate mounted on a custom stainless manifold connected to a 3.5 inch stainless steel down pipe. The computer was reprogrammed by G-force with fuel-cut and boost limit removed along with moving the rev. limited to eight grand. New fuel maps were also tailored to compliment the new setup along with a custom timing advance defeat switch for the nitrous and racing fuel at the flip of a dash mounted toggle switch. Custom intercooler pipes were installed with an Turbonetics Godzilla Blow off valve custom stainless steel intercooler ping. A Du-luck racing crossbar solidifies the rear flexing accompanied with high horsepower and torque in a targa top Supra. The crossbar has also helped to lower my sixty-foot time by three-tenths of a second to a best time slip now reading 11:32@130 mph with a slipping Toyota OEM clutch.

FUTURE PLANS

Future plans:
Since I have the T76 ballbearing turbo, I am running a 3-inch intercooler piping and an intercooler with a matched flow rate for this 3. 1-liter. It will be mainly raced with some street driving. A custom intake manifold is also in the works setup inaccordance with the new supra engine. I will be installing a Tech II total engine control system sponsor by Jim Long of Electromotive Inc. The fuel system is being upgraded to a Paxton Kamikaze pump with a Paxton fuel filter, ANS-10 fittings and braided hoses. The fuel rail will be upgraded to 720cc injectors from RC Engineering, along a Paxton adjustable fuel pressure regulator. I will have the engine blue printed and balanced by Ted's Machine Shop in Kalihi. I now have A.R.P. engine studs installed along with the Crower rods while the engine is being balanced and assembled. The finishing assembly will be done at Bivco Performance Shop. The tire sizes that I'm running are as follows; two 245/45ZR/I 7 for the front and two 315/35ZR/I 7 rear on the Enkei sponsored 17" X 8" front and 17" X 9.5" rear Wan Gan rims.
Advance Clutch Technology sponsored the racing clutch and pressure plate to prevent any slippage. The clutch package will be attached to a Mueller sponsored billet aluminum 3 piece flywheel.
